The members and friends of the EDA are those who have a desire to perform a strategic role in the growth and development of the Lago Vista community.  By forming an alliance of public and private participants who will work to promote Lago Vista as a desirable location for new businesses, business expansion, and relocation, we will be able to accomplish a broad-reaching marketing strategy which will allow Lago Vista to implement the following objectives:

• Promote Lago Vista effectively, including a re-branding of the city to appeal to entrepreneurs
• Endeavor to make local taxes and services regionally competitive
• Promote Lago Vista regionally by partnering with other economic development initiatives
• Promote and diversify the economic base, attract high wage jobs in target industries to Lago Vista, and support the interests of existing businesses
